The season 2010-2011 was the 125th anniversary of Maud Powell's debut made in 1885 with the New York Philharmonic and the Theodore Thomas Orchestras, playing the Bruch violin concerto in G minor.
2011 is the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Maud Powell Society for Music and Education (1986).
Maud Powell's Sesquicentennial (150th birthday) is coming in 2017. 2020 is the 100th anniversary of her death. (Maud Powell, 1867-1920).
