How to submit a name for the Honor Roll
It’s easy! Just submit to us the name, place of birth, and dates of the person you wish to honor, along with a paragraph describing that person, her significance in the world of music, and how she inspired you and/or others.
The preferred text format is MS Word 6.0 for Windows with a photograph scanned at 300 dpi. Please include your name, address and contact information.
We will place the photograph and paragraph on this page along with your name as the person submitting the honored person’s name. We will not publish your address or contact information. We reserve the right to edit or decline to publish submitted materials.
You can submit your Honor Roll entry in one of two ways:
- By email to Karen Shaffer along with your $50 donation to The Maud Powell Society made via Paypal, or
- By regular mail on a CD-R, along with a $50 donation to The Maud Powell Society, 68 Grandview Avenue, Brevard, NC 28712, U.S.A. Donations should be in U.S. dollars drawn on a U.S. bank via check or a money order.
- Donate to the Honor Roll via PayPal.
Donations go to The Maud Powell Society for Music and Education, a tax-exempt, non-profit corporation pursuant to Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. U.S. donations to the Society are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. Consult your tax advisor for more information.
