Come to the Illinois Valley to pay tribute to Maud Powell at her 8-foot bronze statue in Peru, Illinois, the city of her birth.  The annual Maud Powell Arts Celebration in Peru, Illinois, begun in 1995, was concluded with a celebration of her 150th anniversary in August 2017.
